Towing Slings are used, mainly in directional drilling, to install a number of pipes, ducts or cables at the same time.
Towing Slings are a cost effective way of drawing multiple towing heads in a single pull. The slings are fabricated from wire rope of different lengths to prevent excessive side loading on the towing head eyes, and can be made to suit any pulling application.
The number of towing heads that can be drawn in a single pull is limited by the size of the sling, and the towing heads, but multiple slings can be cascaded to increase this capacity.
The Towing Sling can be provided with load rated shackles to avoid over stressing of pipes during the pull.
